To ensure a safe and enjoyable parade experience for everyone, Eagle Mountain City will limit parade entries to 75 on a first-come, first-served basis. Nevertheless, Eagle Mountain City reserves the right to restrict or reject any entry from participation in this City sponsored parade without liability to the City,
regardless of the cost or inconvenience to the entrant. Any staff member or designee of Eagle Mountain City may exercise this right at any point in time, before or during the parade, for any reason considered, in the sole discretion of the City, to be inconsistent with the goals, values, and objectives of Pony Express Days. Each entry is allowed a maximum of 4 motorized vehicles. Drivers of motorized vehicles must have valid Utah driver’s licenses, and the vehicles must be registered and have updated insurance certificates in the vehicle.

All participants in an entry are strongly encouraged to help the driver watch for children along the parade route as they occasionally run in front of a driver to grab tossed candy/items.

All Equestrian entries must arrange to provide their own accompanying clean-up crews.
Participants are required to maintain a distance of 20 – 30 feet from the entry in front of them during the parade. Any pauses or formations are strictly prohibited, except in cases of emergency or to maintain proper distance.

For group entries, it is advisable to arrange carpooling to the staging area since there is no parking or drop-off area once in line. Please coordinate with all participants to ensure easy identification in the lineup.
Participant pick-up and vehicle unloading will occur in the parking lot of Pony Express Rodeo Arena. It is the responsibility of the applicant to organize pick-up with their participants.
